I have a complete 6.0 on a stand. Plan is to build it and put it in my 79 rclb. Truck will be street legal. Plan is to drag and pull with it.

What would you do??

I dont have a set $ number. It will get valve springs and push rods. Maybe a cam? Maybe port and polished heads? Ported intake?

Rods
De lipped pistons
If its just a competition a big single if not compounds.

Yea you can make big power on stock rods I would just add rods for insurance for my personal truck.

In that case you could get away with a big single. I thought you meant it was going to be a street truck. It'll be easier to fit in a pulling class then.

I hate threads like this. If you wanna build something do some research first. Coming on here saying oh I wanna build something but I have no idea what or what parts I'm gonna use whatsoever, just tells me your nit ready to build.
