I saw a guy on youtube do this and he says he hasn't had any issues in the last 3 yrs since doing it and I just wonder if any one else has done this? If so how much did it help or hurt? He plumbed in an external oil cooler to help cool the motor oil by running a hose from a port on the filter base/oil cooler to the front of the truck to a large cooler, then back to the drain plug on the side of the block right above the oil pan. The plug you take out if you want to see inside and see if you have PMR's or Forged rods. On hot summer days this would be nice if it dropped it 10 to 20* but if this only gets you 5 to 8 like he said his did, I can't see spending $500 to $600 on all the good supplies needed to plumb this in. Anyone else?
