ok guys i ordered a set of glowshift gauges, boost trans temp an egt, where is gonna be the easiest place to put the egt probe? how should i hook up the trans temp? for the boost should i drill the intake manifold, or could i just drill the intake elbow? sorry for the stupid questions, just wanna get an idea of what i gotta do

The egt probe will have to go in the exhaust manifold. On my 6.0 I drilled into the driver side mani from the bottom with the motor running in hopes of pushing all the shavings out as I drilled.

The boost fitting will have to be tapped into the intake elbow. Some aftermarket elbows will have pre-tapped ports which is another option if you have a deleted egr.

The drivers side trans case has a test port that you can remove the small bolt and screw the temp sensor right in. That should be it.

what is wrong with the glowshift? I liked the price lol

I got the tinted 7 series, I would have lowed to get the towmaxx but I wanted a 100 psi boost gauge an they don't make a towmaxx passed 60

i searched glowshift and it seems a lot of people had premature failures. i have only had autometer so i cant speak from exp.

yea im going to pick up a set of gauges soon from dieselmanor for my 6.4 i think they have best instructions also and to the OP I just heard a lot of people having problems with glowshift maybe youll get a good set just heard a lot of problems with them
