As long is mine is under 400 I'm good. If you are waiting for it to get under 300 then you may be waiting a while down here during the summer

350. Tuning and your right foot are the biggest factors in egt. Just took a video the other day of my truck pulling 16k in my dump trailer up a 9 percent grade lugging 4th gear tq locked in. Never broke 1000

Thanks for the feedback guys... at least now I know anything under 300 is tits. I do not think I could even shut the truck off over 300 unless I romped on it and immediately shut it off. on my drive to work witch is about 40 mins with the last 10 being stop and go traffic
(work across the street from the H.S.) before I even put it in park its between 300-310 and then within about 10 seconds of being in park its down to 250. (50 degrees here)
Interested to see how a hot summer day will change that.
but once again thanks for the info.

any input on the high side temps? what temp should I try to stay away from?

If I remember right, the dpf burns of at like 1600 to 1800 degrees. I can't get this truck with these tunes to get that high but innovative tunes on my old truck did

I am pretty sure regen is about 1350 to 1400

I remember before I deleted my dpf, had the mini max on it tuned, I muster have plugged my dpf pretty good cuz my pre turbo temps were 1100 in park

I tried seeing how high I could get it and how low it would go during regen and I dont think I ever broke 1350 and it never got below 1100 during the process when I was monitoring
