Who has first hand experience between the three? (Xtreme Street, Xtreme X, Xtreme Race) What do YOU guys recommend? Truck is a daily driver, stock except intake, and exhaust. 20in wheels with 35in Mud Terrains so not looking for fuel mileage but every little bit counts. Currently have KEM Tunes and looking for a change and have heard nothing but great things about Eric@Innovative. Just wondering what you guys with first hand experience think/say.

As always, all input is appreciated

Thanks, Danny

Edit: Truck has an aftermarket built trans in it as well.

If you are only going to buy one, buy the extreme X. All three are good tunes and can be DD tunes

I'm pretty sure the power levels are the same between the xtreme tunes, with the xtreme x locking the converter the fastest.. I daily drove the xtreme x and it takes a little getting used to how it shifts under half throttle situations.

But when you go wot, it's freakin awesome.

Extreme street is a ~275-285hp tune, extreme race is a ~325hp tune with a lot more fueling down low and the extreme X is ~325-330hp tune with a little less fueling down low than the race. The power levels are not the same nor do they feel the same. If send him your programmer and have him install the tunes in the preloaded section you will get several tranny selections (stock lock, firmer stock, race lock, etc)

I'm running the Xtreme x on my dually. I usually see around 13-14 mpg. Overall I like the trans tuning, shifts are very firm. Only weird thing is sometimes when I'm slowing down it will downshift hard at around 25-30 mph but that might just be something with my trans and not the tuning.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

So for all around driving the xtreme x is the way to go? If I were to go with the xtreme-race. How bad is the smoke? I daily drive the KEM 250 now and it is the dirtiest tune I have, it will haze under normal driving. I'm not a fan of black smoke what-so-ever.

The extreme race is daily drivable by me. Im sure we don't drive the same but I have no problem daily driving it when I load it the smoke isn't bad at all either that Ive noticed. Extreme X was made to daily drive. Extreme street is a good daily driving tune also but if I were only going to choose one it would probably be the extreme X if I were wanting to load it and leave it.

Try Gearheads tunes. Very minimal smoke, good mileage and awesome power.

Gearhead tunes are good too. I like dealing with Matt and Eric both, I run tunes from both and I enjoy tunes from both.

He didn't ask for gearhead so I didn't want to butt in with another recommendation since I enjoy dealing with both companies equally and both have been great to deal with

The innovative 330 tune is awesome. We just dynod that tune on a dyno and it out down 530/1070 at stumps.

Pine grove pa. Same tune makes 570hp on an extended cab shortbed. Lost a good amount through the longer driveline.

A few inches in a driveshaft isn't going to loose any hp so you cant blame that, but it is two different trucks. Either way, we all know dynos are tuning tools and we can only take them with a grain of salt without a baseline from the same setup at the same or very similar situations

It's burning very clean on that tune though. Could use some bigger nozzles to give it some more fuel honestly.

It fuels the same as the extreme race except down low is how I understood it from Eric and usually the race has plenty of fuel.

It's a fairly clean running tune. Just a light haze at WOT on the dyno. Every dyno is different as were all aware of. I was just letting you guys know what it put down.

530 is low. shoulda been 570+ on average, on almost every dyno out there that loads it right. cab configuration means almost nothing.
