Manual EBP guage

Well as many know i had a turbo fail
I am running MPD exhaust manifolds and divided up pipes
I plan this week to remOve the up pipes and install a 40mm external waste gate and dump to the atmo and weld some sort of bung for a mechanical EBP gauge

id like some feed back pics
i have autometter phantom 2 guages id prefer to run a guage on the shifter collum
if im right i need to buy a boost guage for the ebp guage. or can i run some sort of electrical one and run off of the factory sensor?

id also like some feed back on the way i need to run my external wastegate
i plan on putting it on the left up pipe and running a pipe for dump off down to the front driveshaft
heres some old pics before i parked the truck again

all my parts will hopefully be here by Friday.

why not just use the tube where the factory EBP sensor is to get your BP reading? This is how i did mine. I installed a T fitting where the factory EBP sensor goes, then installed the EBP sensor on top on the T fitting then ran some coiled copper tubing from the T fitting where the gauge would then hook to.

ether way works fine. mine is just tapped in the manifold like a EGT gauge. But I would use a electric sending unit and not a manual gauge.

Yeah. I put a mechanical gauge in the Punisher truck and it started leaking a little. Not fun, lol.

Yeah i agree Matt....mine is an electric. This way you wont have any chance of the gauge getting plugged with soot. I had a home made filter on mine.

iv got a 6.4l ebp tube and bung set up i thought about using
but what guage do i use with it?

I just used a Isspro ebp gauge.
