modifying an HPOP to spin backwards?

pondering modifying an HPOP to spin backwards over my morning coffee.
is that simply clocking the swash plate 180° out or am I missing something?

Inlet and outlet passages will be backwards. You just can spin it backwards cuz you want to.
BTS used to use a stock 530 pump on top, an off-the-shelf unit if you want to use off-the-shelf parts.

do you mean backwards in the casting?
if you spin the swash 180 out of stock, the pistons will be drawing down and pushing up correctly, that or I need to look at it again
