That looks pretty good. Lines and mounts are clean. Nice job. Looks like the inner fender can still go up in place.

Very clean looking and doesn't look to difficult getting the oil filter off.

looks good

I am sure I don't need to mention the braided lines besides conducting electricity are abrasive so triple check clearances and chafe guards

Thanks guys. Yes the inner fender goes right in. The filter is above the fender. Just have to pull it to change the filter. Really happy with the way it turned out

Its a C&R racing cooler. Its like 10"x5.5"x4.5" or close to that. Nice piece but expensive. Got it from summit.
The degas is a small concern. Its 1.5 quarts now and I was thinking of making it a bit bigger. Maybe 3-4 quarts. Just have to cut it open on one side and weld a new piece in. I've got the room so its on the list.

10-4, that would be my only concern with it if there isn't enough room for expansion then it will find a weak point some where else. Maybe switching to a waterless coolant would allow you to leave it like it is. Hard to see in that picture but how many coolant ports are on the degass bottle ?

Well if it couldn't expand wouldn't it just go out the overflow? There are 3 ports. One on the side. One on the bottom and the over flow nipple.

Ryan what oil filter did you end up going with? Looks like one for a 7.3.

Its a Donaldson filter. I'd have to grab the numbers from it. Nothing specific. It was the same factory spec head and filter for pressure relief and what not.

Factory pressure of 16 psi cap

Maybe it will work then, I would check the vent hose just to see if its bleeding any out though.

I may have missed it, and I'm no engineer. But how are your lines routed?

I'm assuming motor>filter>cooler>motor?

I've seen 2 setups in the passed (6.0s) that ran motor>cooler>filter>motor and ended up clogging the cooler and having a failure.

Where are the coolant lines going into the cooler?
