Nice little build you've got there bud. I've been debating adding the 59 on next to increase the fun factor. Basically have the same stuff as you, but I only have the drop in 71 atmo right now in front of a stock vgt. How you like the fitment and everything of the CAI? Just ordered one of those for myself also.

Real good.
The elbow and filter filter length is perfect.
At first i thought it would bounce around without something holding onto the filter end but has proved to stay still.
Very happy with it.
Sure can hear the turbos talk to ya way more.
Its something I really like.

Good stuff. That was the only thing I iwas worried about was the filter moving around... but thats good to hear it stays put. Do you plan on hitting the dyno at all with the new setup?

I wish.
Got a few more things I need to add before I start the search for a near by dyno.
I live in the sticks, nearest one I know of is 4hr drive one way.

Looks good pretty much what I'm doing on the tow rig.

That's what I was aiming for, a lively truck that tows well.
There was a few other things I would of liked to do performance wise, but all in all really happy with it.

RCD converter and OUO traction bars are in the near future witch should contribute nicely.
At least I hope lol
That's what I been told by people that say they know :poke:

Well in the 250 tune before this tear down I could get the egt to 1500-1600 range on a certain hill, mind you the truck had some minor exhaust leak issues and the stock down pipe.

Now on the same hill running the 275 tune it will only climb to 1250ish.
IMO a pretty good drop.

As for smoke the heavy role in on the throttle puff is there then clean as can be on the 275 tune.
And dam near perfectly clean with the 310 tune. Slightest haze.
Not embarrassing to have fun with on the street at all.

Give me about a month and I will be able to tell you the difference. A 59 is going in. Other than a WG, no other mods this round.

OP, Definitely a nice build. You addressed all the air issues, beefed up the valvetrain, and picked a great combo on turbos so this thing should have pretty good power and still be reliable.

Thanks. Only thing I'm debating on is a WG. Seeing absolute BP in the high 80s
Thinking it woukdnt hurt to relive some of it, just not totally sure.

Won't be disappointed with it, very nice piece.
Should work nice on your monster in the making.
I'll be watching how it turns out for sure.
