He absolutely can get well under that weight if he does an ifs front end. Just takes time and money.

Awesome work. How much, if any, weight was saved with the four-link/coilover backhalfed setup. Can you do one to a 4x4 truck as easy or is it mainly a 2wd thing?

Dmitri and Darren Morrison both run back halfed 4x4 trucks. I think Dmitri's last pass was a 9.50 with a 1.5 60'. Darren claims the black Mamba has cut 1.32 or 1.2* 60' on a 9.30 or 9.20 pass.

I think it was a 1.39 , this back half setup is built to cut 1.30's ... Doesn't mean it will but that's what it was designed to do. The anti roll bar is state of the art splined.

Is there some details on that back half setup somewhere that I missed? I'm interested in doing a back half on a truck this winter, but I am new to this whole drag truck game.... teach a toothless sled pulling redneck some suspension please. LOL

Gene and Chris Alston chassis works did all the spec and design. It was based off pro mod 4 link because of the torque output we expect,2000+ . Genes truck cut 1.40's with much less technology and a lot less power.

Just too many irons in the fire , and I thought Haller was the man to do it. I would not have sold it had he not wanted it. He's the right man for the job , and for the record PTP is staying on the truck as a title sponsor. That truck is going to do some cool things. Definitely a game changer IMO.
