Painted Headlights In Canada

Well I got one apart. Took my time and followed the instructions from here and about an hour later had it apart with no damage or broken clips. The instructions made it easy! I will do the driver side tomorrow after work, miller time. :pint:

As far as I know, the only time you need a safety inspection in Ontario is when the vehicle changes owners......been wrong before tho

Look at your ownership. It likely says COM - FIT at the top.

That makes it a COMmercial vehicle.

On the plate portion, under Reg. Gross Weight, if that is over 4500kg you require annual CVI.

My truck weighs 3780kg, so scaling at least 4500 is a necessity in the ownership so I can put some people and luggage and fuel and junk in it.

Those look good! Mine have been painted for a couple years and the amber is very dark. Looks painted at day but you can see the amber clearly at night. I wouldn't be suprised if you could see a little amber through yours. And you won't get hassled I imagine. Seeing as you still have the amber at the top of the headlight.
