So the parts are rolling in just received the billet S366 from Midwest today what a nice piece I Also got a no limit CAI from Mike at no limit I cant thank Mike at no limit enough for setting me up with the CAI and for the turbo kit.

I guess i'll be receiving the rest of the turbo kit pipes etc separately can't wait..

nice! Just got me another No Limit box the other day :D

I REALLY want to put that turbo on my reg cab... you putting it on your CCSB?

Got the MWD billet 66 single kit and Mikes CAI installed tonight. Took awhile as I was taking my time. All I can say is wow excellent quality kit and best of all lots of power. Got it installed and took it for a test run little on the laggy/smokey side though. The truck got 3.55's and 35's so that probably plays a huge role in spool up. Did a boost launch to 80 wot from a stop spool up to 10 psi and let her eat.. 0-50 is dead 60+ pulls like a animal LOL. I guess I gotta get with PIP and get it fine tune a little more gotta get the smoke down as it is way way to smokey and get the shifts raised I bet after a few reversions i'll run great I do plan on getting a MM/better tunes later down the road) . Any recommendations to cut the smoke down? tuning wise etc? its way to smokey on tip in for me. Other than that I absolutely love it the sound and the power also the low EBP which is a huge plus. Anybody wanting to do a single I highly recommend Morgans kit install was fast and easy and the kit itself was well thought out and all the parts in the kit its top quality I can't thank Mike at no limit enough for hooking me up with this kit and also his CAI anybody looking for parts get with Mike. A++++ customer service.

other than that I got a few questions whats everybody cruising boost with a 66 single on stock fuel? at 40 I had my AE hooked up and it was showing 1-2 psi I got it up to 60 3-7 psi and let the TC lock and rolled into it to wot all it did was smoke rail pressure got up to 24K while boost maxed out at 10 PSI and I let off. Boots are tight no exhaust/boost leaks no codes any recommendations on tuning adjustments? Thanks

Tuning is key with a single on a 6.4, I've run a few different turbos on my personal one. And I can tell you canned tuning doesn't work for them. Your probably getting a code for no VGT signal too, I had that same code on mine and it was holding back on power.

Nope up pipes are good no exhaust/boost leaks. I think its just the tuning. I tried to pass a car today all it did was smoke once the TC locked the truck fell on its face and has no power loses all boost and it locks at 45 even with T/H on LOL. I emailed PIP to see if he could do reversions to the single non vgt file he sent me that is on the truck right now. never heard back yet.

I know I really need a MM but funds are a little tight right now but once funds permit i'll be purchasing a MM from Mike at No Limit also GH tunes and maybe i'll play around with MCC.

i'll have to ride out on these tunes for a little while.

I was in the truck idling it and I was watching boost on the dashdaq.

Idling -0.3

1500 0.0

Anything wrong with those idle boost numbers? Normal for singles at idle?

Agreed. A bad tune won't ruin spool that bad. I can run my 66 on a 6.0 with canned sct tunes and it would spool around 20mph from a dead stop.

Edit. Unless the trans tuning is totally jacked up that can ruin anything.

This whole non VGT tune is jacked up LOL.

Tuning, 2200 stall, and ported manifold should be your next upgrades. Tuning wise alone will be night/day. Also these fellers will agree that you'll probably go through a few revisions while getting software dialed for your truck, your location, and etc. Pay Matt what it takes lol!

Almost got tuning dialed in. (Still thinking about trying a different tuner/tunes little later though)

Truck actually feels powerful now LOL

We dumped the first non vgt file he sent me.

Now the tune is based off of the stock compounds level 5 tune.

Disabled DTC's to do with the VGT etc.

Got it to a point where spool up and WOT smoke is very minimal.

Asked Mike if he could add a ton more fuel from initial spool up - 3500.

Bumped up shifting RPM on each gear.

Spools up very quick (Might be quicker than stock who knows)

the TC locks at 60 now.

Love the truck a little more now LOL.

Any other tuning edits we should do?

What do you folks see cruising 40-60? (with stock and or aftermarket setups?)

With the billet S366 on the truck now I see 850-900 EGT (with these revised tunes) normal?

Max EGT WOT ( Few Seconds )

1540 Too hot?
