Plastic in the engine?

This is the only little bit of gouging. I pulled the other engine I have and it was the same way, same spot and it ran before it melted plastic.

Did you check the front cover and make sure there isn't gouges in it behind the lpop or on the lpop cover?

No. Believe in 05 the design changed

The outlet on the lower radiator hose points in a different direction. Just need the lower radiator hose to match the cover you have

Not yet. Had to move my fiancé to Colorado. Also was waiting for a front cover. It's getting delivered Monday.
