I bought painted bumpers and had them powdercoated. The powdercoater said that he prefered painted bumpers to work with. With the chrome bumpers, he had to strip them down and had to get the nickel off.

If you want to use chrome bumpers, you need to have them striped.

Still need to do my grill surround and headlights.

Thanks for the input, I'm probably going to just buy the paintable surround and do that first. I like the look of those pics posted
