removing boost fooler

Well i ordered matts tunes and they asked me some questions.like what turbo and injecters trans mods and so on.Then he ask if i was running a boost fooler and i told him yes. I run a regulator and a diode .he told me to remove it all.What i am asking is do i still run the hose to the map sensor thanks in advance

yes and you can keep your regulator, just set it for somewhere in the upper 20s on a stock 7.3 sensor.

u just take it all back to stock. Matts tunes run off of the map readings a boost fooler will not let it fuel properly. been there done that

So you're saying a boost fooler will not allow it to fuel properly? LIke it being down on power? Maybe thats why my rods haven't been shattered yet. LOL

Ive been thinking of taking it off lately but I haven't done it yet. I guess this is reason enough to do it.

boost foolers are a thing of the past now, most tuners just have it written straight into the tune :thumbsup:

Most tuners can turn off the defueling, Matt turns out the light, plus he uses the MAP in his tunes.
