Those look good, for painting how did you prep the "chromed" plastic?

Just sand, primer, sand, primer, paint clear?

I used oven cleaner to strip the majority of the chrome and sanded the rest off. Shot with adhesion promotor, primer, base, clear. Didn't sand the primer

Did you have to do any trimming on the shrouds or did they fit with out trimming?

The Apollo shrouds needed trimming on the dummies but not the lower bowl. It's not bad man. Just pick up another set of lights so you can take your time. I've walked a few ppl through it lol.

Used #6-32 bolts,washers,nuts
Mount the bolts on the dummy and mark where to drill holes through the back of the bowl. Use nuts on the inside and outside to adjust the alignment of the dummy until it's right. I put some jbweld over the nuts once it was where I wanted it. Only have one pic of that

What projector did you use in the HIDs? Cant tell if these are the Fxr. If they are, would you have a pict of the cut you made in the reflector bowl?

Pretty sure he used Mini D2S 3.0s.

Still thinking about doing the FXRs in mine but I'm pretty happy with the Minis as of now so I may wait and try the new Mini D2S 4.0s when they come out.

If zporta passes and you want to ship, pm me with a price.
I was referring to my wheels/tires if I wasn't clear on that.

Crap. I literally have one bucket mocked (cut with the projector temp installed) with an FXr projector and just have not taken the time to put it on my truck to see if the alignment is anywhere close.

Can we get some pics of them lit up

Here's a few of mine. I'm running Mini D2S 3.0 projectors, 35w ballasts and Osram 66240 CBI bulbs. Order of pictures: wall cutoff, beam color, on-road low beam and low-beam width. I thought I had a high beam picture but I guess I don't.
