Is there another company offering a life time warranty on a stage 5 transmission? I read the other thread talking about warren transmission said that if you get the stage 5 it was 5500 bucks and a life time warranty. I am just asking. I think someone offering a life time warranty means they are prepared to stand behind their product in the diesel motorsport world. These performance product manufactures know what we do with our trucks and how we drive them. A life time warranty to me says a lot. Well until people start complaining about the company not holding up to their end of the warranty.

As long as they stand behind the warranty.

I assume Patrick is referring to tadds truck when it lost the intermediate. The intermediate shaft broke making its 2nd and final shift at the track. Tadd changed that trans to a 3 speed and that was one of the first few passes it made. Upon inspection, trans was perfect. Just the intermediate let go.

I was definitely not trying to start an argument...just stating that the forum is a majority of a customer of one place. There is nothing wrong with that in my opinion and they earned that customer base with great products. I was just hinting that there are other boards out there for people who don't like the atmosphere.

Many other boards with people speaking of stuff they have no experience with. I have always preferred the place where I can get input based on first hand knowledge vs hearsay and regurgitated crap. In regards to this thread , I want to SEE Words from people that have run this transmission. At higher than stock hp levels. Anybody can throw a sun coast rebuild kit at it.

Exactly, people here speak about what they have tried. So if the product works for me, I would recommend it to others. That isn't being a nut swinger just backing a product that we agree with. I am pretty sure there isn't a majority of members here backing Elite and all they do.
I usually only buy equipment etc from a established company. Don't like spending money on something that isn't proven.

Bts doesn't physically say lifetime warranty. Their site says two years. And if you ask them brian will just say I will take care of you. Witch he does.

But if it happens reguraly, I would look somewhere else cause it would piss me off. I don't care if it is under warrantee, if every year or so the truck is down a couple of weeks for a trans. Not worth the hassle for me. Especially if you are not near and it all is shipped.

Yes and who else will pay for shipping to and from and install labor and not ask a question when he recieves it even if it's grenaded or send parts out so you can have it locally fixed and do that for two years than all you have to worry about is getting to him and he will still go through it for free

Knife to gun fight????

I was just saying for me it would be a pia. I don't know how they do their warantee work and never claimed to. If they do that cool, but if it went out on a regular basis no thanks. You can keep your knife and gun and go play in a closet.

I think I was confusing these guys and ATS's stuff.

Damn this **** just never stops does it? Every thread turns into the same crap. Transmissions fail there is no way around it.

I do like what mike pointed out about speaking about what you know from experience...so i'm going to suggest everyone sticks with that...
