You also bought the thick membrane correct? That stuff you're rolling down kills vobrations, but that's pretty much it. To really make it quite there's two other products you put down after the dynamat.

Not trying to make it a recording studio, just needed to quiet down the vibrations, which is what this did. Very well. Quieted down the exhaust very well. I doubled up on the front for a couple of reasons also. One being greater vibration dampening. Also I ended up pulling the factory heat pads that were stuck there so I did it for heat resistance as well. Completely covering the floor and eventually doing the ceiling and middle and rear pillars should give it some better insulation also to go along with the ting. Hopefully it's good insulation to keep the truck warmer and cooler for longer when it's not running also.
But I got the front driver's side caliper and rotor replaced today as well as some new pads. Hopefully she will be good to go for a while. Many hours of love for it over the past two days.

You need to read up on what product does what. Vibration dampener is a 25-50% coverage product. If you want an insultion factor you would cover that with closed cell foam which is actually to decouple but that's another topic. If you want noise rejection you would follow that with mass loaded vinyl.
In all honesty all you're doing is wasting CLD there. You could have put that money to one of the other products and achieved your goals easier and better.

Either way it's doing what I want. It's decreasing noise level on the inside of the cab, which is what I wanted. Even if it could be better. The kit came with 200sqft so I just used it and still have probably about 70-80 sq ft left.

yep, finally.. she feels neglected... had a tender on her all winter so batteries would stay charged.. she fired up after about 3 seconds of cranking and purred like a kitten all the way on the trailer.. hope she does the same taking her off the trailer.

That's gonna look sweet against that black truck! You should take it to a tire shop and have the clip on weights taken off and have them re balance them with stick on weights on the inside!

You really should sell me that grille. It just doesn't look right with the smoked headlights.

You wouldn't want it. It's got a chip in the chrome about the size of a quarter. But if you find a red grille for cheap pick it up and I'll swap ya this one for it! Lol
