Pulling the trans to get recased. And hopefully find where the mystery bolt that caused the damage came from. All the flex plate bolts appear to be there.

Isn't that the second trans you have had a bolt thru the case? If so that's crazy-never seen or heard of it before on 4rs and 5rs anyway....

Finally gave it a half assed hand wash for the first time since early spring. It's been getting pressure washer baths for a while now. Feel like I've been neglecting it....guess I really have been to be honest.

The 5R was due to letting a local shop change out the torque converter and they didn't tighten the flex plate bolts enough.

This one is very strange. All the flex plate bolts were there and I never heard any unusual noise or anything. I've had it since new too.

I've got it all unbolted now, just waiting on someone to give me a hand wiggling the trans out.

I installed a Carli 2.5" lift with Fox shocks yesterday.

Then had a Redhead steering gearbox installed. She drives better than new now!!

Next project is upgrading the lights to HID projectors, LED smoked lenses all around and installing cab lights!

Went up to my buddy's hand car wash for a quick detail and stupid huge badge removal. Towed my trailer to work yesterday, now will use it to put my wave runner in the water this morning.

Found the trans culprit. Looks like an old stock flexplate bolt. No idea where it came from as I have aftermarket zinc coated ones and they were all there. Only thing we can think of is it must've bounced in behind the converter or something. Which is still weird because I never heard any odd noises or anything out of it. Only reason I even knew it was there was I saw the cracks when I pulled the cab a while back.

Also pulled my injectors and sent them to Warren Diesel to be upgraded a little. :D

And going from 285/150 hybrids to 330/150 hybrids. They should actually be arriving at Warren's today.

Just got my truck back on the road after the following:
New:
oil pan
dipstick
starter
water pump
new to me 250/100 ff injectors
Irate competition valve springs
head studs
resealed oil cooler
Adrenaline HPOP
all new orings on the top of the motor
new exhaust manifolds
new bellowed up pipes and collector
fuel filter
all new coolant
changed the hpop oil, lol
installed hyrda chip, G&arhead tunes
fog lights replaced with factory

Removed:
Pac brake (didn't work)
Banks Trans Command
Banks OttoMind
Engine oil temp gauge
bypass oil filter ( was leaking)

I put 97 miles on it today and it runs pretty well. We are leaving for Glacier on Thursday, I still have some minor electrical stuff to do and change the steering gear, tomorrow.
