ooh yaa buddy !
Glad to see the s480 made it. Hurry up and get it on!
should make some booshhht!!!
Yeah I'd say so, just cant decide yet to feed it with a 3" or 3.5" pipe.
NICE!!! We just looked at those wheels for the Jeep last night.
whatever works i think, im going to feed an s510 with 3 inch, i dont think its going to make much of a difference either way honestly
Those would look badass on the jeep.
Damn and S510 is a big boy, can't imagine what that weighs. This sucker I have weighs at least 30lbs. You maybe right on pipe diameter, I was just worried that with 3" maybe drive pressure would be high and or with 3.5" maybe it would be to low. 3" would be nice just because I would have more room to fit it in there. I guess since it's going to have both stages gated it shouldn't be an issue.
The turbine side is going to be the restriction, i just figured 3 inch would help keep the gasses hotter and moving a little faster before it got to the turbine wheel.
My turbo is heavy as ***, it has a cast iron compressor cover so the whole thing weighs 100 lbs if i remember right, cover alone is 36 lbs, just gunna use it untill i know everything is working right then probably get a race cover for it.
Trust me I cant wait, got to get the WOP kit first before I can start. Then the fabbing begins. He did a good job packing it, even double boxed it.
Where are you going to mount it?
We're getting closer, got a bunch of pieces in from the machinist late last week. Have just about everything we need to fab up the mount kits, still waiting on some turbine housings though.
under the hood...
LOL going on the right side fender somewhere, wherever it fits decent
I have plenty of room where the procharger was, going to have to push the turbo father back too the firewall, so i dont know what all is going to have to get relocated, im hoping with anyluck i can start on it 4th of july weekend...
will do man
Wifes truck looks tough
