It ended up getting a new set of injectors, egr *****, blue spring kit, new banjos, and an sct x4

Minor nothing crazy hasnt been ran much since it started smoking. I'm starting with ******** it tomorrow if the parts came in and I guess go from there.

07 with 90k miles started smoking white at idle and more under a load. Had code for egr valve and flow insufficient and also turbo under boost. Smoke smells kind of like coolant but also has a fuel smell. Any ideas? Pulled egr valve and it was pretty clogged up didnt notice anything wet on it...

Anyone ever build there own t4 setup for a 7.3? Ive been kicking the thought around for awhile now but really curious if alot of others have done this. If so kind of wondering what material to use stainless steel or mild. I see alot of shops that sell them and use stainless, so really dont know...

As far as being effeicent it will eat fuel unlike a newer "tuned" truck. A 6.4 will averege 20+mpg with deletes and a tuner where my 7.3 pulls 16mpg... im comparing apples to oranges here but i keep daily driving in mind and with todays fuel cost every gallon count...i had big plans for my truck...

What is there to explain.....set of good injector like a 238/100 or 250/100 and a good charger like a 38r or brute 66 if he doesnt wanna spend $$$ for a t4 mount. A 17* hpop should hold up but id upgrade personally. Fuel system such as a fass or ad or even a a-1000 with a regulated return

500hp can be done with a good set of injectors and 38r or a custom drop in like the brute66 from no limit or d66 from beans, along with a fuel system and possibly a hpop, and some good tuning, studs are not necessary in my opinion is your not constantly beating on it. Now question is will the...
