Electrical problem could be main wire connector near parking brake is black and gray with many wires connecting. You need to forcefully push the two connectors together to make sure its tight. Some have had this problem. It may help the shifting problem also if your lucky
Some have had cooling system problems due to boiling because of the pressure cap not holding at design limit, causing radiator to blow out leaks and other issues. This was written about on another forum.
There is a large bundle of wires that are connected with a gray and black large connector near the parking brake. You need to forcefully push on both ends and if you feel or hear a click then it was loose. This is a problem and ford has relocated this bundle on the newest model.
The cts2 will allow you to do a regen on command , you will have to leave it in park and let it finish then you should be good for a few hundred miles till soot level gets in the 3.2 range and then repeat.
