Blue spring bumps up fuel pressure slightly as the stock spring tend to wear out over time and drop pressure. In my experience a mild, non studded tune is fine as long as you monitor your deltas.

CTC hit the nail on the head. The only thing I would add to that would be other basic stuff like an egr cooler ****** and the blue spring mod.

In my opinion you would need to reassess your priorities if you want a high hp truck to tow that kind of weight. Nobody would recommend regularly working a high hp truck that hard day in and day out without expecting some issues. A 6.0 with the correct bulletproofing done and a reputable tune...

Is it a quick build of pressure past 16psi when under load? If that is the case, at least in my buddies experience, it was blown gaskets.

Maybe I missed this but did you try the pressure line T'ed into the degas bottle to a gauge inside of the truck? From what I have heard that is a pretty good indicator.

:whs: It may be a good idea, if you do decide to make the swap, to keep the money available for a rebuild and just drive it until it quits.
