What your oil pressure at?

i dont know forsure, i know i put a new oil pump with the front cover, and i tried running codes and it dont show nothing... just codes about he actuator and the intake sensors not being plugged in... how do you monitor oil pressure on the mini?

i know it cant be the crank bearings... it would have poped up when i drove it before i took it apart... remember its only after sitting over 2hrs and it starts normal, then 10 seconds and it shuts off... wrench light and oil light eluminate, i pull codes for the actuator and intake sensors and some "u" code... i erase the codes, truck turns over for around 5 seconds and fires right up and runs great

You can't with the Mini on a 6.4, your going to have to use a scan gauge or IDS.

ohh dang it..... dont have those.... any other way? any sign?? it did this after i downloaded the h&s tuning for the transmission, i downloaded it again today so we will see

Simplest way would be to drill and tap a spare oil filter cap.

Running 34 psi idle when hot.. fires up nice when hot.... just when shutting for 2, hrs

Seems a bit high for idle, should be more like 20.

thats what it is pulling up 34 psi.... idk what to do as of today. remember, new oil cooler, new oil pump, new front cover, all lines connected correctly on turbo. im thinking its a sensor somewhere, because just barely 2 hours ago i started it, ran 10 seconds, shut off. the wrench light nd oil light flashing. cleared codes that arent even related to this problem... truck takes 5 seconds to fire up, it fires up and fuel rail pressure jumps from 4.8 to 5.2 to 5.0 to and then 4.8. does this for like 5 seconds the idles smooth at 4.8 for the rest of the time.... i think its a computer problem

Well I'm seeing 75 psi when I get to 2500 rpm

Rail pressure is normal, oil pressure just seems high. There is a low and a high regulator for the oil pressure. I think its 65 on the high and 7 on the low, there is a switch that may be bad.

Guys changing regulator spring with old one... I fould out that pressure is 80 when. Started cold... of course its gonna throw codes

do you think the oil cap makes a difference???? im running rcd oil cap.. with oem oil filter.....
