I am on the highway in Texas, just getting into San Antonio, and the I-10 takes a 90 degree turn to the right, and the speed lowers to 25 MPH, then resumes 60 MPH. I accelerated with traffic, and she went into 5th, the TC locked, and it went back into 4th... I thought it was 3rd, but I shifted down to "3" on the column, and it downshifted further, then back to "D" and it shifted back up to 4th... Would not get into 5th...
I was running IDP Xtreme X, with firmer shifts, stock lock for the trans. Trans is Sun Coast Iron Pac, with trans go shift kit, Billet input shaft, and RCD converter.
Temps were normal, around 172 cruising across I-10 at about 71 MPH. After the 4th gear deal, I slowed down, and the temps climbed up to 201... Still not bad, but def higher than they should be, as it is 76 here in SA... As soon as I pulled over, and idled for a few minutes, temps were quickly back down to 160. I did over fill the trans by about 1/2 a quart back in FL. (Not paying attention to what I was doing... ) I pushed out a little fluid, but not a broken line or anything, it was from on top of the trans, so, the over flow valve is doing it's job... Fluid did not smell even the slightest bit burnt, and I called Ben, and tried driving again, and she hit 5th as normal... Then, turn around on the same road, 4th gear again.... Ben suggested return to stock, then re load tune, and take her around the block again... I am about to get her down the road and see if she works....
