Just for clarification all test were done with 71mm batmo wheels.. Aaron already tested the drop in batmo months back... No need to beat that dead horse.

the wheels are made by precision for.elites turbos. Its no secrete they have been.journal bearing since day 1

i think i read that. but there was no dynoing on the same truck prior to install and the poster got ragged on it for that. maybe wrong thread.

Rudy did stock turbos, drop-in low pressure batmowheel, and 71mm Elite amtosphere all on the same truck and the same dyno. Nothing changed but the atmospheric turbo.

I forgot that these smaller kits and atmospheres were modified stock turbos with larger compressors. And im still a little confused at to why people were taking elites/precisions already billet wheel and spending the money to remove it for another one :p . I wouldnt of expected much difference, and im glad someone tested it. I could understand bullseye making a replacement "upgrade" if it was for a plane jane cast wheel in the turbo, but I dont see why they would do it since the exsisting is already billet.

Ask Craig@MPD, he's the one who pushed this.

Tadd slap a 76 on there for us! We're eager to see how it would run

We did a test 76 in a stock housing back in '09, and it made great power, but it had too much surge, and after about a year the shaft broke, so 72 is as big as we dare with our name on it. Some aftermarket tuning now is also a lot better to help with surge, so that's a plus, but there's still a reliability factor we have to keep in mind

I have yet to see hard data that has impressed me with these Batmo wheels...on any vehicle.

I would like to get the 72mm and put in place of the 71 in the tow power setup now. Wonder what that would be like? Also wonder how the 72 would do with 60 hp nozzles?

We will know more soon. We recently built a truck that had 60s, dual pumps, a ported manifold, and tow powers. It made 734 with a spartan tune on hallers dyno. I think 60s would make this 72 even nastier (for a stock housing turbo anyway).
