I may go pick up a flex head later today. I know you guys are here to help and I am very thankful of that. I'm alittle worried I may have hurt the vgt turbo. When getting the actuator fork out everything seemed fine then the ring for the vanes locked up and the compressor wheel will no longer spin. The guy the fork attached to moved too far back and I can't get it back forward. I'm kinda burnt out on it, been at the same stage for like 8 hours with no improvement. Giving myself some more time. Trying to enjoy my birthday somewhat at the moment.

The vgt ring dropped so don't spin the comp wheel or damage will occur. You'll get it. Patience though. Oh and go enjoy your birthday bud. Have fun and then come back to this, if it makes you feel any better I spent 4hrs putting bolts back in a machine at work, all 4 of them.

Sorry on the let down boys, I really wanted to get it in. I picked up a new 10mm deep because mine has seen better days now, a 3/8 flex head and breaker bar. The sucky part is I think I caught the flu, everyone at work has had it. This blows.

Jeez i'd call this a pretty crappy birthday weekend! Might better call off work for monday now and tie one on!! Atleast you can salvage some of the weekend for pleasure. I hope you make out better with this project, i'd like to see some more testimonials on these 72's.

Thanks to I believe white monster and dustin for suggestion the 3/8" flex drive, broke both loose of the first shot, when threw a whole can of penetrating oil in that last few days, and thanks to everyone else.

Good, but now I need to get a hold of Wayne to see if he can get me that vgt part.

And I used a flex head wrench, not a wobble guy. There handles are couple inches longer too.

Yeah and the handle doesn't have to be perfectly straight that's why I use them every day, I don't even own a fixed head ratchet anymore that I use at work

3/8 flexhead bent handle is my most used tool, for everything.

Anyone know what this is? Its was in the bottom of my oil filter housing. And does anyone have the part # for the stand pipe the oil filter goes down over? That little piece looks like the piece in the to center of that.

:shrug:Not sure what to tell you about that then. Maybe that part broke a few times for some reason, and now is fixed and the person fixing didnt look for it. Mine was broke at my last oil change somehow, and it costed me $50 for the new parts.
