Old thread, but I finally finished up the exhaust and got it how I like it. I also added a muffler (5" flow through like the Magnaflow design). I am super happy with the way it turned out. Sounds great too!

Funny this thread was brought back up. I'm not running a tip on my exhaust. Just plain ole raw 5" Flo-Pro. Happiest I've ever been with an exhaust setup.

Take the tail section of the exhaust off if it angles down over the rear axle and put the tip there at a 45 to the ground? Just a thought that's free

Thats what I did. I put a turn down on it. It is right under the leaf springs. I dont like tips sticking out of cars anyways. Plus the MBRP kit I got looked like crap sticking out the back of the truck.
