I'll trade you for my tight a *** seized up pipe bolts. Got everything torn down but can't get the bolts to crack. More beer required.

This was my savior for your situation with a 3" extension and 6 point deep socket.

How bout that picture? I think this is where the boost is blowing out @ after its starts builing into the high teens low 20"s. I have some oil residue on the high pressure turbo. I just can not get it to slide on on there anymore & do not know why. I'm so sick of this truck!!

Make sure the atmo is orientated correctly, the feed should be straight up.

Back bolt

Other 3

So have all the bolts loose, tighten the 3 till they are almost tight but the bracket is still loose, then gently tap the elbow and it hopefully will slide on. When it stops moving, tighten the 3. Then tighten the front and rear and as you do it should move just a little and finish seating.

How can the atmo be out of wack? The compressor housing is bolted on so it can't be rotated and the base sits flat on the turbo pedestal mount. There are also dowels that line them up. Pull your inner fender well on the drivers side. Look up and you'll see the u. Reach in and give that f**ker hell.

The center section to exhaust housing can rotate when you loosen the v-band.

Medicine Hat... Again
I cants see the u distorting. Not enough heat. Was there anything under the pedistal when you installed the turbos? Maybe a washer or something? Small enough that I may have been missed.

This is true but the mount is on the turbine housing so the center section can be off but you can still get the drain in. And that would clock the compressor slightly and not allow the cross over to seat, but his 180 is not all the way on either, probably because the bracket is bent. So go buy a new bracket.

The bracket the U bolts on is not bent, the bracket mounted to the head on the bottom is what is I believe is bent, which now really has no affect. If the bracket that the U is bolted to & holds the fuel cooler also is all the way against the valve cover(see 3rd picture). The high pressure turbo is cocked up just a hair & is the issue of why the U won't slide up & over it correctly.

If the main oil feed T needs to be straight up & down, mine is not!! It's pulled to the left quite a bit.

Lines not bent, turbos are just off. Just dropped it off to my mechanic I'm tired of dealing w/ it.
