I thought one of Rudy's guys said it was a custom E.D. charger? Or by E.D. did they mean Elite Diesel? ::
Pretty sure he meant EDE or Elite Diesel. Acronyms can get a little confusing in the diesel industry. It's just a class rules specific precision charger, so the supplier, whether it's us or somebody else, is just responsible for the specs. It's still built by Precision if that's what they're running.

Not only the ability to upgrade in the future to bigger turbos and nitrous but if someone pulls or does dirt drags or whatever they only allow a certain size charger, or stock appearing, the larger nozzles are a way to squeeze out some more power. Ive heard of a few people pulling running 60-100% nozzles with stock chargers.

Can anyone explain why you wouldn't want to run larger nozzles? I don't understand the point in limiting yourself with a small nozzle, when you can just run a larger nozzle and pull fuel when it isn't needed. Changing tunes is a lot cheaper and easier than swapping nozzles.

JD compared to 60% nozzles. Thats like why would someone spend all that money on dual fuelera and run 60hp nozzles. When most cases a stock hpfp and an aeromotive lpfp is all that's needed. That to me is a bigger waste.

So you're saying slap some 100% over nozzles and call it a day?

Those are my plans. 100% and dual fuelers. But I'm also basing my decision off of a man that sees and tunes many different nozzle/turbo setups on his dyno weekly and what he thinks is best.

Man, you and that madmanwhateverhisnameis wear me out with these "oh, you can run 30% nozzles on a stock hpfp without any problems" garbage. It doesn't work. Tested at altitude on a dyno numerous times with a 15% nozzle, the truck lost power. Until you have dyno sheets and/or track times to back it up, give it a rest. You've beat that idea across the forum with no proof worse than Bobby beat Whitney. And another thing, some of us like to make good usable power without looking like a god damn freight train stop light to stop light. 100% nozzles with a 72 is retarded.

Did i ever say you can run nozzles with a stock hpfp? All i mentioned is people do run large nozzles in competition classes where they are limitied by turbo size. Go right over to the rudys sled puller specs thread, they are mentioning running a 2.6 class with 100+ % nozzles. Not once have i ever promoted running nozzles on a stock injection pump, it doesnt work, and that's a known fact. With the advances in tuning over the last year or so i wouldnt be afraid at all of having a nozzle that is slight too large and pulling some duration back.

30% maybe 15% no

I'm running elites 15s now and I'm holding 25k the whole way down the strip on a 2.2pw tune. The dyno tests that they did with JDs truck showed a drop with a stock lpfp. Unless there were more tests done, that's the only one ive heard of.

I try LOL

Edit: thanks for the avatar! lmao

Who would run 15% nozzles lmao. My trucks runs WAY better with 30% nozzles and made 691 with x street. Eric said if I wOuld have put his cusTom tune back in its usually a 40 hp gain with the added timing and fuel. I don't understand what usable power is. If I run a 11.3 and you run a 12.0, I pull 1st place and you pull 5th place your argument of usuable power is dumb. I don't need 35psi of boost at the touch of a pedal to cruise around town buddy. And maybe you should get your facts straight 15% do maintain in a lot of trucks with stock hpfp idk where you got your panties in a bunch with 30% nozzles. Even the man dynoing JDs truck said he'd like to see the test done with bigger nozzles because at 15% and low rail pressure there isn't much fuel over stock to make the difference up.
