I think you're missing the point that there are different thicknesses, different steels, spec'd tolerances, etc. like everyone else said, the kits are different, regardless of what material is used.

Nope they are all the same!!! Stop trying to convince me otherwise.

And it doesn't mean one is necessarily better than the other or one way is right or one is wrong. If someone has a competent Trans shop with a good performance background (preferably with 5r110's) they should be able to make it hold decent power.

However we do get a lot of transmissions in here that have been put together by someone's local Trans shop "by their master Trans expert". Then when it takes a dump they won't warranty it. That's when we have to clean up the mess. Happens quite often. Maybe 50% of the Trans jobs we do anymore are like that.
