That is a good feature. Have you noticed any drop in efficiency with them? I know you don't tow much.

I looked at dual electric fans for a while but was told that I would kill them when I tow so i dropped the idea. Wonder about someone that really doesn't tow.

It's about three inches thick to the stockers 1-3/4 inch thickness. Everyone that I've talked to running one said they haven't noticed any temp increase running it.

Hell yeah bro, I'll probably need all the help I can get lol. I know Matt is helping me and maybe Don too. There's going to be some welding so I'll be listening for my welding 101 class (always wanted to learn how to weld). And that top side creeper would really be handy for pulling the turbos. I'll be sure to give you a shout when I get everything in. Im still trying to find out when the single kits are going to be shipping out and waiting on a tracking number for my S480. Also need to order some assorted bends and straits in 3" SS. Still not sure how I'm going to do these gates, I think I may just have them dump under the truck somewhere. Any how I'll be surety call you when it's time bro.

Haha, I've only had a few parts show up so far lol. Not much to take pictures of yet. I'll be sure to post more as more stuff rolls in.

My electric fans works okay on my 7.3L 2wd, it didn't even have a trailer hitch, so no towing. Temps were just fine at cruising speeds, and that motor had a half filled block. Had the controller go out on me once, but they sent a new one under warranty.

Does anyone know what the real difference in power would switching to electrics?

Well drove a good bit today in Houstons stop and go traffic, it was 104* I had the A/C full blast and the hottest the coolant ever got was 200* a few times for a min or less but pretty much all day just floated between 194-196*. Id say the radiator is still getting plenty of flow. EGT's were noticeably lower, power even felt a little peppier than normal, though that could be from the new trans and that I havent driven it in a week.

Over all I'm pretty happy with it and I know it will show more with the new turbo setup.
