Just had my heads done 5wks ago along with a new radiator, new oil cooler and fresh coolant filter. I'm already seeing a 30+ degree temp difference on a drive longer than 25 miles of normal interstate driving. Looks like time for my 4th new oil cooler already. I hate this truck.

I rebuilt the whole front axle a few years ago when I had my 99. Me and a buddy knocked it out along with a case of beer on a Saturday. Not too bad of a job at all. Go to HomeDepot or somewhere similar and get a 2 1/2" screw floor flange, about a 12" long section of screw pipe and a pipe cap...

Mine fit perfect, no issues. I did install it while the cab was up in the air though, made the whole install very quick and easy. I'm sure it would be more difficult with the cab on but Jason was changing my oil cooler and installing other things though so I took advantage of the opportunity...
