To CCV mod or not to CCV mod, that is the question

My understanding of it was that the filter media inside the doghouse became saturated causing higher than normal internal pressure in the cc. Mine is vented to atmo but I wanted to plumb it into the exhaust minus the catch can unless it was necessary somehow in the "venturi" effect Sent from my...

To CCV mod or not to CCV mod, that is the question

Is the catch can necessary? And if not, I understand the concept of it, but why? Sent from my LG-H871 using Tapatalk

    Floor Mats

I have the husky weather beater mats in my 17. They are comparable to weather tech mats I had in my 2005. I liked the weather techs until I took a chance on these husky's and will probably never go back. Cheaper, fit better, and don't move or deform. They have little sharp nubs on the bottom...

    Backseat of a crew cab

To the right of the headrest behind the seat is the mechanism and when you put your hand back there, there is a shiny metal round release you pull up on and it works like a door mechanism. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

    Paint QC

I noticed 3 spots on the roof of my truck that had dirt or something under the paint. I also had an issue where the plastic pieces on the front seat weren't put together correctly and were discolored where they bent them. There were some scratches in the plastic by the rear seat almost the...

    P259f code on 2017 f350 3k mi. Wtf

Drove 1/2 mile to home depot this morn. When I left and pulled out into the main drag, lightly stepped on it and the truck basically fell on its face. Engine light came on and the truck said it was going into protection mode. Turbo made 0 boost the rest of the way home. I have a scangaugeII...

    Toyo RT...what's the verdict?

I have them. They do run narrow. No annoying road noise, good in the rain, and for the lil bit of off road use they see they're awesome. Probably one of the best tires I've ever had besides my old Goodyear wrangle mtr Kevlar's. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

Rent or borrow Front Axle seal tool 05 &^

There are cheaper versions out there. I got mine for $75 but I searched around. You need something that will drive these seals in evenly. Otherwise you'll be buying another $50 dollar seal to save on the tool. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk

    o-ringed heads?

I got mine from rudy's for just under $2k. Not ported and polished though. I remember hearing that porting these heads didn't really produce much over stock for the cost, and the fact that it's removing more material from an already poor design. I can't speak on the polishing though. Sent from...

    Wheel/Tire Tech Thread

That's what a lot of the stock height guys are running. Usually a -22 or -24 offset I think but don't quote me on that. I rub 22x12 -44 on bumpy turns with a 6" lift, cutout fender flares, and 325 55's. Plus I even trimmed inside the wheel well Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk

    Wheel/Tire Tech Thread

They're gonna rub. I had 32" tires on 22x12 -44's and they were stretched on the rim. That was the only way they would fit without rubbing. Forget about hitting a bump in the middle of a turn Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk
