Guys having good luck with the 5r. Are you going out on the street from like 20-30-40 mph rolls and putting it to the mat or are you just babying it until the time comes via drag racing, sled pulling. My stock trans last 8k miles tuned. My built trans has lasted at 600 to 800hp for 20k but my driving habits changed A LOT. If I'm not racing from a dig I don't usually get on it. I always remember these 5rs seemed like they could never find a gear. Anyone ever think of a stand alone on the 5rs?

What fluid are you using??
