Have you tested the alternator? Sounds like you still don't have enough juice to get it to light. Maybe you have a current draw on the batteries when it sits. Trucks are touchy with voltages. Got to be pretty much 12 or higher while cranking Sent from my ifone

When i had my input shaft out to replace, I drained everything and filled it up with John deere low viscosity hyd oil. I work for deere and get it cheap. I just did mine about a month ago. 100 in parts from dealer. Mine to would honk the horn when i turned the wheel. didnt take much for dissasembly because all both bearings were shattered and laying down in my steering column shroud piece. I had to do some work on the shaft but worked out well...

I just did my trans also. I forgot to hook up a ground strap that hooked up with the trans oil dipstick. It's a braided strap. My dash was funky and alternator wouldn't charge right . Hooked it up and have had no problems since. It also cranked really slow Sent from my ifone

My 97 did the same thing. Finally the CPS died and i had a no restart. Got a new CPS from local international dealer. I believe it was 26 dollars. Comes with a new o-ring. Been running like a top since. Sent from my ifone
