I can hear the pump running when I key on, but is there a way to test it? I am not getting any fuel to my fuel bowl.

Changed fuel filters last night and I was in a hurry and forgot to cycle the pump before starting. I'm pretty sure I have air in my lines, but the weird thing is I can hear the pump priming when I key on, but no fuel is filling the bowl. When I open the water separator no fuel comes out either...
