    tuner?DPF?EGR?

Yeah i was about to pull the trigger on a H&S but found a guy here in town who sold me the exhaust and dpf-r together for $500. And already got 1/2 my money back selling the converter and dpf. It did exactly what i wanted. I just filled up for the 1st time yesterday and will post mpg gains, hand...

    tuner?DPF?EGR?

Well after lots of research i finally got around to it and installed a flo pro 5" turbo back exhaust, 4" down pipe, and a dpf-r. Quick and painless install and am loving the mpg gains. The 5" exhaust really makes the 6.4 sound like a jet engine! LOVIN IT! Thanks for the advice.

    tuner?DPF?EGR?

Bought a 6.4 yesterday, R.I.P. boss hog. It's the stampede edition, 2008 with 82,467 miles. I am not concerned with making loads of power, more concerned with getting the most life I can out of it and from what I have researched I need to do a DPF delete, EGR delete and get a tuner to turn off...

04 SD with clunking up front

My 04 did the same thing. I ordered new bushings for the front leaf springs and found out it cost more to have them pressed in than to just buy brand new spring packs that came with new bushings installed so I sent the bushings back, ordered new springs, installed and problem solved. 3 days...

    diesel additives

I have recently been using XDP diesel additive and was wondering what everyone else is using or whats the best. I have a friend who has been using this additive and swears he is getting 3 more mpg and can notice a difference in performance. I can not notice a thing. $9 for a small bottle that...

    6.0 injector stiction discussion

Check this out... 3. FICM Injector Current Pulse Increase The stock injector pulse was specified as 400 μs – 5.8 ms at 20 A. I wanted a little extra current to help overcome injector stiction or other electro-mechanical issues that might arise in the injectors. I tried to trace back the...

    Early or late 04 6.0?

When my hpop blew the little ball out the side I got the revised stc kit and when I tore down to it I discovered there was no stc, early 04 6.0. I also had the early 6.0 hpop. By the way save your $$$ if this ever happens to you and just get a 1/4" plug and tap that hole the ball blew out of and...

    Good first mods

Thanks for the info. So it sounds like the 58V FICM will get me more life from my injectors? I am more concerned right now with getting everything reliable before trying to get more horses. Have you herd of people going with the straight thru elbow fittings rather than the 6.4 banjos? I found a...

Great FICM start to the weekend...

I have been trying to get more info about FICM upgrades. Is tuning a FICM the same as building a 58V?

    Good first mods

What does FICM tuning do for us? What is done to the FICM to make it more better? Im planning to do the updated fuel pressure regulator kit this weekend and I am stumped about either going with the 6.4 banjo's or I have read a few people do just a straight through elbow. Any thoughts on those...

    Any idea?

The dealerships with the smart engineers and techs will fix this the right way by installing heavier duty drive shaft and carrier bearing. This happened once I went with 37" tires and I got the bigger better driveshaft and carrier bearing, problem solved!

Thanks for the help. I did find that autozone sales just the glass but im still kinda skeptical about changing just the glass because of the power.
