    a welding hood gives by far the best possible protection to your head and face... and you dont know why youd use it to grind? your some kinda special arent you? get yourself into some confined spaces where sparks are bouncing off **** and coming back at you and you might have a clue...

    you could easily build a TTB to hold up.. they hold up on trucks now just the joints wear.. you can beef up the parts and convert it to uniballs and be good to go.. its in the works actually:cool:

    you can weld mild to stainless with regular steel wire, flux or hardwire you cant weld stainless to stainless as it wont hold over time.
