You can adjust the trans tuning to your liking to help out to a certain extent. I have 4:10's on 37's and mine would keep downshifting way too much. Sometimes out of the blue. Got my trans tune adjusted to the point that I'm pretty happy with it now.

I vote for the 3.0's. I have them and love them. Although you have to get a new coil mount for those big 3.0's to fit. If you don't want the hassle you could get the 2.5 pintops which should be a direct swap. I had the 2.5 pintops as well and they don't disappoint either. I'll be surprised if...

I haven't even attempted to try and play around with mcc tuning myself so I'm clueless there. And I'm more than willing to pay someone who knows what they are doing for their services.

Can someone recommend a place where I could get a good trans tune?. The one I have now down shifts too much and shift points are way off and I'd like to try somewhere else. I have a mini max with 37" tires and 4:11 gears. What are my options. Thanks

This code has troubled me in the past. It first happened back in November. At that time I just cleared the code and kept driving. Didn't really go into limp mode until a couple months ago. Everytime I tried clearing it, it would come right back and stay stuck in limp mode. So I popped the hood...

Maybe I installed mine wrong but if my memory serves me right I didn't have to take off the fan wheel when I installed my dual fuelers.

I have nitro 4:11's and my Factory e-locker works. I agree it sucks but it works or at least it does on my truck.
